Hi there!
For this weeks Global Design Project 190, I recently bought the Perennial Birthday stamp set and so decided to use some of the stamps from there.
I started off with crumb cake card for the background and then used a thin strip of blushing bride cardstock across the card.
For the sentiment, I used the ‘here’s to celebrating you!’ stamp and stamped it in a circle from the stitched labels dies and used the shaded spruce ink.
I love the flowers in the stamp set and used one of them in a group of three using the melon mambo ink and added some leaves in shaded spruce ink.
To finish off the card, I used another of the dies in the stitched labels dies and stamped ‘enjoy’ from the tabs for everything stamp set using the melon mambo ink and also added some share what you love pearls to the centre of the flowers.
I normally use white card or patterned paper for the background but I really like using the crumb cake card and also love how the crumb cake coordinates with the pink really well too.
This is the sketch for this week:
