TGIF challenge 212

Hi there!

I recently came across the TGIF challenge blog and I love a challenge or sketch to give you inspiration to make a card!

This weeks challenge was paper flowers, so I decided to use the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and picked out one of the flowers and a leaf stamp.

I stamped the flowers in Daffodil Delight ink, the centre of the flower in night of navy ink and the leaves in shaded spruce ink, then die cut them using the bouquet bunch dies.

The sentiment is also from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and I stamped it on a stitched square which I cut from soft seafoam card.

For the background, I used the flower spray stamp from the same stamp set and stamped them randomly across the card using gray granite ink.

I chose to mount the square and the flowers on dimensionals to make them stand out from the background and also added some of the rhinestones to add some bling.

I really like how the stamped image on the background creates a simple but effective background and then just adding a pop of colour in the flowers.
