Hi there!
While I was flicking through the papers in the Tropical Escape designer series paper, I came across this palm leaf paper and knew I wanted to use it for a card, so used it in this weeks Freshly Made Sketch 382.
I really love the variants of colour in the leaves and decided to use the flower and another leaf from the Tropical Chic stamp set, to go with it.
I went with blushing bride ink for the flower and tranquil tide ink for the leaf and then die cut them out.
I then just added some rhinestones to the flowers and mounted them on some dimensional foam pads as this made them stand out more as when they were float, they got a bit lost with the pattern behind.
For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from Tropical Chic stamp set in memento black ink on some blushing bride card and just simply cut it into a rectangle to add to the top of the card.
This is the the sketch for this week:
What a perfect combination of paper and images! Lovely card. Thanks for joining us at FMS!
