Hi there!
It’s mine and my husbands 12th wedding anniversary to day and so I wanted to show you the card that I have made for him!
I decided to use some of the papers from the Twinkle Twinkle paper pack and cut three into strips to add some colours and patterns to the card.
I mounted them on to some whisper white card that I had used the polka dots embossing folder on.
For the sentiment, I used the Happy Anniversary stamp from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and stamped it on some card using Balmy Blue ink, which had been punched out using the Everyday Label punch.
To stop the label looking bare, I stamped some of the stars from the Tabs for everything stamp set, using the Pacific Point ink.
On top of the patterned paper, I added some hearts that were from the Tabs for Everything stamp set too. I firstly stamped the hearts using the Balmy Blue ink on some whisper white card and then when the ink had dried, I went over the hearts with the heart outline stamp with Pacific Point to add some more depth to the little hearts and then cut them out.
I added them on top of the paper so that they looked like they were floating upwards.
Normally I would use red hearts on the card, but decided to go with a blue theme this year and I’m glad as I think the blue hearts were cute!
