Easy to make felt food

For Christmas, I decided I would make some felt food for Hollie to use in the new kitchen she was getting. She has some pretend food already but she didn’t really have anything to use in the pots and pans.
I thought that I would try and make some fried eggs, bacon, spaghetti and pasta and here is what I came up with.
To make the eggs I just drew a template for the white and the yolk and then simply sewed them together.
For the bacon I cut strips of felt and then stitched some lines with brown thread.
The eggs fit nicely in the frying pan but the bacon is a little long so will probably cut them down slightly.
To make the pasta, I cut some long strips of felt slightly wavy and then cut some smaller strips from them. I added a few stitches to the small strip and then pulled the thread to make them pinched in the middle to create bow shaped pasta.

The spaghetti was really to make as I simply just cut long thin strips of the beige felt and then scrunched them up a bit and voilà, spaghetti.
They fit nicely in the pan and so now the pans have something to go in them.
These were so easy to make and I just bought some basic felt sheets from Hobbycraft for 50p a sheet, so cheap too.
Also they don’t take up too much room and are a great little addition to a play kitchen.
I have also made some other items from felt so will be showing them soon.
Hope you are having a good week.
