global design project #278

Hi there. For todays card I used the Global Design Project sketch #278.

I started with the stripes part of the sketch and picked a patterned paper from the Forever Greenery papers and also a gold leaf label from the Forever Gold laser-cut papers.

I wanted to use a flower so stamped the petals twice from the Floral Essence stamp set to make a flower, stamped the centre piece and added some glossy accents to it to make it more 3D.

I went back to the Forever Greenery papers and fussy cut out some of the branches to go at the bottom of the gold label. For the sentiment, I used the Thinking of You from the A Touch of Ink stamp set and stamped it on some white card using black ink and then mounted it some Shaded Spruce card.

I like the gold laser cut papers as they add some glimmer and texture to the card without adding any dimension to the card.
