Hi there! When looking through my stamp sets for ideas to use on this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #448, I came across the Clearly Besotted Take Flight and felt that the hot air balloon is what I wanted to use for the diagonal of the sketch.
I stamped the balloons in Memento Black ink using the Tonic Tim Holtz stamp platform to help get a crisp image. I coloured the balloons in Stampin’ Up! So Saffron, light Pool Party, light Petal Pink blends and for the baskets, I used the light and dark Crumb Cake blends.
For the background, I went with the Clearly Besotted Cloudy Day stencil and used the Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue ink and the Ranger mini ink blending tool to create the clouds.
Keeping the card simple, I stamped the sentiment straight on to the card base using the Clearly Besotted A little Sentimental stamp set and Memento black ink.
I really love the effect the stencil gives of the clouds and creates a lovely background.
This is the sketch for the weeks Freshly Made Sketch #448.
