Global Design Project 188

Hi there!

For this weeks Global Design Project was to CASE a card by Brian King.

To CASE means to Copy And Selectively Edit the card, so this is my take on the CASEing.

While I was looking for some designer series paper for the previous card, I spotted this lovely floral paper from the Share What You Love papers and decided to use it for the background of this card.

As the paper has quite a busy pattern, I chose to fussy cut a flower from the same paper pack as the background and mount it on a stitched oval and popped it on some dimensionals to lift it up from the busy background paper.

I added some of the Wink of Stella glitter to the flowers to make them sparkle.

For the sentiment, I used the happy birthday from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink and stamped it on a pretty label from the stitched labels dies. I also added some dimenionals to lift it off the background paper.
