Happy Mother’s Day

As today is mother’s day in the UK I thought I would make my mum a card as I haven’t made many recently and thought it was about time I made one.

As I have recently bought the new Clearly Besotted word dies, I really wanted to use the Happy on the card so chose to use the small mother’s day stamp from Paula Pascual’s All Year Round set to go with it.

I went with the lovely red and blue papers from the American Crafts Soho Garden collection and one of the love heart stamps from Clearly Besotted.

I have also bought the lovely pack of assorted sequins from Doodlebug and chose to use the clear sequins on this card to add some dimension.

I really like the combination of the red white and blue on this card and think it looks quite smart.
