Colourful butterflies card

 

I love to make cards with butterflies, so when I saw that Stampin’ Up! had some new butterfly items in the spring/summer catalogue, I added them to my order!

I wanted to make some little colourful butterflies and so stamped 4 different patterned butterflies and punched them out.

 For the patterned paper, I used some of the paper from the Share what you love paper pack and added to the bottom of the card.

I also added some ribbon to contrast the paper.

 For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday from the Beautiful bouquet stamp set. I stamped it on a stitched oval from the Stitched shapes framelits. 

There is quite a large blank white space at the top of the card and it would so easy to try and fill it up, but I think it is important not to go over the top and so kept it simple.
