Inspire. Create. challenge #83

Hi there, this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge theme is cute critters and as I had just received the Snailed it suite, I really wanted to use one of the snails.

I started by die cutting a stitched rectangle from the Sale a Bration Oh So Ombre papers and chose the bubbly Bermuda Bay one. I wanted this to become the sky and then used the Granny Apple Green to create the grass but it was looking a little plain so I used the little speckle stamp from the A Touch of Ink stamp set, over the Granny apple Green paper.

For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set and stamped it in Basic Grey ink on the label from the Pierced Blooms dies.

I decided to stamp the little snail using the Basic Grey ink and the used Slate Grey, Bermuda Bay and Poppy Parade blends to colour it it. I also decided to stamp the toadstools and used the Crumb cake, Poppy Parade, Mossy Meadow and Pool Party blends.

I love how the card turned out, creating a little scene on the card!
