There was two things that I wanted to use for this weeks Global Design Project 182 sketch and that was the sale-a-bration Botanical Butterfly designer series paper and the doily builder dies that I had ordered recently.
When looking through the Botanical Butterfly papers, I settled on the Highland Heather floral paper. I decided to co-ordinate it with the Gorgeous Grape card stock. I was going to use the Highland Heather to contrast but went with the Gorgeous Grape as it was more of a contrast.
I split the paper slightly so that you could see the Gorgeous Grape card through and looks slightly like a ribbon down the card.
For the image, I chose one of the doilies from the Doily Builder thinlet dies and cut it from some whisper white card but kept the die cut to add back in. I quite like the effect of the doily has, in it’s die cut!
I used a square from the stitched shapes framelit dies to frame the doily and then mounted it one Gorgeous Grape card so the doily could stand out.
To finish off the doily, I added some of the Wink of Stella glitter to make it sparkle.
For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Anniversary from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set on some Whisper White card and then added the doily strip to the bottom which is from the Doily Builder Thinlet Dies in the Gorgeous Grape card.
I also added one of the share what you love pearls to each of the sides of the sentiment.
Here is this weeks sketch:
