Handmade Gifts

For Christmas I decided to make some gifts but rather than making paper craft items I decided to make some jewellery and hair accessories instead.
I bought some items to make the jewellery and hair accessories gradually over a few months from Ebay and then set to work making them.
I created some rings with some large rose cabochons and some wooden hearts. Love the rose ring.

I made some earrings with the small rose cabochons and the small chrysanthemum cabochons.
I made some pretty hair pins using the large rose cabochons, wooden hearts and daisies cabochons.
I decided to make some elasticated hair ties with some elastic cut down to 10 inches, tied them and then added some glossy accents glue to stop them fraying. They are great in the hair as they don’t snag the hair but also look pretty on the wrist.

As well as the jewellery, I used some of the large cabochons to jazz up some plain push pins to use in a cork board.
and lastly used washi tape on paper clips to create some pretty page flags.

I had great fun making these items and they made some pretty little gifts. They were not expensive to buy the items and were easy to make.
Did you make anything for Christmas presents? Would love to hear if you did and what you thought of the items I made?
Hope you have a good week.

    Hi Louise

The flower rings and hair pins you made are so so pretty! I made lots of biscuits and fudge as Christmas gifts, but would love to be able to make something as cute as your gifts.

Found your site via the BBN Tuesday Tango, and am so pleased I did. Really looking forward to keeping up with your posts on Bloglovin.

    Kate x
